This thread involves a question as well. 
Do any of you use the 30 most recent posts function?
Question being, a forum that I belong to is trying to figure out if it would be in our best interest to try to exclude the many "off topic" posts we have so that anyone looking in that section would only see relevant posts. Since it cannot be done by section, we'd have to pass protect the boards in order for the function to be affected for guests.
What do you think of this?
