Hi pickle, sorry I took so long!!!
- Quite a few members active in the last 24 hrs, showing that your members are committed!
- This is also reflected in the post count, 190 posts between 13 members is pretty good!
- Tbe banner looks cool too!
- 'View the 100 most recent posts'?! Crikey man, PBS only has 10, and that has about 100 posts every minute! I'd change that to view the 10 most recent posts.
- "...please remember not to post any links to porn sites." That really doesn't look good to a guest, who'd then say 'ooh, they must love their porn to have the admin warning them about it!"
Just say 'don't post any links which break our rules/the ProBoards ToS' instead!
- It takes bliddy ages to load! Maybe take some coding out?!
- No offence, hate the side tables. They make forums look cramped IMO. Try sticking your CBox below the boards?
- Your rules were quite hard to find, try sticking a big link to them on the main page?
- Also, the rules were a bit iffy, way too specific, and several typos.

Design:
• I like the on/off icons, and the fact that it is a lighter skin is something unique. However, the background is a little bland for me, I would add some color or at least a pattern to it, and would add some color to the board in general, even if it is only one.
• The right side table doesn't do much for me (usually doesn't). I would personally suggest the left side table. The link that you have for live chat in the second box is currently unnecessary, since you have live chat disabled.
Categories and Boards:
• Seem to be well organized, except for the Introductions board which is at the bottom of the forum. It should be at the top, where people will see it right away.
• For some of your category descriptions, your grammar could use a little brushing up, especially since you're a literature based forum, it looks unprofessional to have poor grammar. If you need help with it, feel free to ask for help editing on the board.
Content:
• Good number of posts for 14 members, but I noticed that more than half of them are from you alone. Definitely should advertise to get more members and garner more discussion. It also doesn't hurt sometimes to start a thread and just leave it to your members.
• As with your category descriptions, your grammar is a bit hazy in your rules. Also, there is no clear organization of the rules, which make them a bit hard to follow. Try some headings, and again ask for help with the grammar.
Overall rate: 6/10

Thanks for the review guys. I agree my grammer is bad and would appreciate any help with that.
As for trying to make it a bit more eye catching, i have added a new background which is relevent to the forum and added gradiants. Do you think this has helped?

Wow, that's a massive improvement there! Once again, though, I hatehatehate side tables! Also, the bgd image loops, which doesnt look great (though this is probs due to my massive screen!) Good job, keep it up! KTF Joe |

You're welcome to run any text by me via PM. Gradients and background are a huge improvement. I would suggest that you make your side tables a little wider and your forum a little more narrow. |
